ICCI at the Converge Capital Conference

Jan Karsten, Ana Maria Diniz, Marina Feffer, and Marco Kelson at the Conference.

Last week, we had the honor of participating in the 2nd edition of the Converge Capital Conference, organized by the amazing Marina Cançado, in São Paulo. The purpose of the event was to engage leaders and other participants of financial markets in the fight against the climate crisis.

Panels with scientists, government agents, investors, and members of civil society brought deep reflections on climate risks and on the opportunities Brazil has to lead the transition to a green economy. Alongside Marina Feffer, Ana Maria Diniz, and Jan Gunnar Karsten, CFA, CFP, our Executive Director, Marco Kelson Kertzman, participated in the panel about the role of strategic philanthropy in this ecosystem.

ICCI believes that financial markets, with its central function in the allocation of capital in the economy, has a crucial role in advancing climate solutions and seeks to engage its leaders in this agenda.

Our gratitude and deep admiration to Marina Cançado for putting together such an important event and to all the other panelists for their fundamental contributions and provocations. We look forward to the 3rd edition of Converge in 2025!
