Jheniffer Ribeiro joins ICCI as a new team member

Jheniffer Ribeiro

We are thrilled to announce that Jheniffer Ribeiro as our new programmatic coordinator.

With extensive experience in cause-based campaigns, coalition building and research, Jheniffer will contribute to fostering a strategic communications ecosystem capable of driving meaningful change in the climate, justice and democracy agendas.

Before joining ICCI, she was communications coordinator at GEMAA (Multidisciplinary Group for Affirmative Action at IESP-UERJ) and the Black Women Decide movement. She has also worked for non-profit organizations such as the Marielle Franco Institute, Amnesty International and Reporters Without Borders.

Her interests focus on racial and gender justice and the development of strategies to overcome inequalities. In 2023, she coordinated the national campaign "Ministra Negra Já", which called for the appointment of a black woman to Brazil's Supreme Court and became a landmark of strategic communication campaigns.

At ICCI, she will lead our efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships, promote collaboration between different initiatives and foster innovation.
